2008
July 8: Celebrating our 6th anniversary, we updated Greetings.
March 3: We start business courses in the hybrid attendance style, Net & School, from April.
On July 8, we celebrate our 6th anniversary since the foundation of Wild Bear Corporation. We appreciate all supports, cooperation, and patronage.
Now, we, as individuals and as an organization, are looking at the opportunities based on our capabilities, social values, and happiness for our customers and succeeding the spirit of Ikebukuro Business School for creations, changes, growth, and evolutions.
Although the persisting uncertainty of the credit crisis in the U.S. and a rest after the economic recovery in Japan are making the environment opaque, we have been accumulating the experiences in helping the future management generations to develop professional knowledge and skills in more than four years since we opened our business school in April 2004. After we started the one-day course consisted of the 3 lecture-based core subjects, which were management strategy, marketing, and accounting & finance, and the business planning project, we launched and managed many serial courses such as the management course based on the case-studies, the accounting course, the marketing course, and the finance course. We are pursuing our goal to help our students to learn the essences of the business school education in a short term as efficiently as possible. We believe it will be our best contribution to the society. As our effort might have helped somehow, the opportunities for many business persons to obtain practical business education have been improving. We welcome the change. We expect that we have fulfilled our roles as Ikebukuro Business School to a certain extent. Therefore, we are closing the school in Ikebukuro by July 31.
We have found the social needs in the area of practical business education, chosen the domain where we can fully utilize our resources, and done what we can do devotedly. In the 7th year, we must return to the initial idea for our foundation and realize the customers' needs, values, and happiness.
We have decided not to pursue our growth and profits in the second half of 2008. Regardless of our existing business frameworks which we have built in many years and the established values, we have chosen to fit into the customers' needs and provide the best solutions by all means. We listen all opinions and try to meet expectations as well as examine diverse opportunities to achieve the best and the most for our customers.
We have invested all our energies and assets. We believe our investments are fruitful in our stakeholders and continue to grow.
Innovations & Balanced Sustainability
We, as individuals and as an organization, are based on our basic idea to do our BEST and heartily pursue innovations and balanced sustainability.
Atsushi Inokuma
President & CEO, Wild Bear CorporationJuly 8, 2008
Our name derives from the Japanese family name of the founder, Inokuma. It means "Wild boar & Bear" in English. Without the "boar", a homonym of "bore", we have "Wild Bear". It also symbolizes a consulting company which produces sizable and fruitful outcomes for our stakeholders.
